From Bologna

follow for Florence and then, take the A11 (‘Firenze Mare’ speedway) to Genova/Livorno/Pisa; when you get to LUCCA, follow straight for PISA. Follow the motorway for around 20 km more as far as PISA NORD (thereafter, see below).

From Milan

you can arrive from Genova or from Parma. Whatever the route, you go through LA SPEZIA and head down toward LIVORNO, getting off the A12 motorway at PISA NORD (thereafter, see below).
Check the low fares airline website as ryanair, easyjet, finnair, transavia, etc
The nearest airport is “PISA” (15′ from the camping & fields – about 41,00€ by taxi);
check www.pisa-airport.com

Florence is not so far and linked with Viareggio by train (1h trip / about 5 or 6,00€ ticket) and by bus.
From Pisa airport, you can take a bus to Torre del Lago (about 40min) (bus stops at the church which is at 3km from the beach) or to Viareggio (about 60min). If you go up to Viareggio, ask to stop at ‘piazza d’Azeglio’ or at the train station (stazione F.S.).
Bus timetable available at www.lazzi.it
Or, by train from Pisa airport to Pisa Central Station (5min / 1,10€) and then with another train from Pisa station to Torre del Lago Puccini (takes about 15min) or up to Viareggio.
Train info available at www.trenitalia.it

by car, at PISA Nord

To get to playing fields at Marina di Torre del Lago or to the accommodation (Camping Italia, Bosco Verde, Paradiso, hotel Turandot), follow the indication below:

Going out of the speedway A12 at Pisa Nord, turn right at the first cross to VIAREGGIO and follow the road SS1 aurelia for 5,6Km.
At the first roundabout you’ll find, turn left direction Torre del Lago (museo Puccini) and drive for another 1,5km up to the first traffic light (you’ll see a Q8 fuel station on your left side 50mt before the traffic light and a church on your right side at the cross).
At the traffic light, turn left in via (street) Giuseppe Garibaldi (do not follow Viareggio direction anymore). Pass under the railway station and follow always this street.
After 800mt you passed under the railway station, you’ll find a roundabout: go always straight following ‘Marina di Torre del Lago’.
After another 400mt, you’ll have to pass small cross with another traffic light where, on your right side, you’ll find the ‘Viale dei Tigli’ which is the camping road with camping Italia, Europa, Paradiso and Pineta.
Going straight at the cross, the road is called now ‘Viale J.F. Kennedy’; on your left side you can find the ‘Bosco verde camping’.
At the end of this road Kennedy (2,5km after having passing under the railway station), you’ll arrive on a big roundabout: the beach is just in front of you. hotel Turandot is on the left side, 100mt before this big roundabout.
At the big roundabout, turn right and after 400/500 mt you will meet the beach/fields: Le Dune, Misericordia and Croce Verde … fields are behind the natural and wonderful dune!
This road, viale Europa, finish after about 700mt.
